Spend a sunny Wednesday evening or a relaxed Saturday afternoon walking through a working family-run brewery on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. Our brewery tour is one of the most welcoming and affordable in Oxfordshire — £15 per person, 45 minutes to an hour with our brewer Ant, and a generous tasting flight included throughout.

We brew in a renovated farm building at Blaythorne Farm, just outside the village of Chadlington. You’ll see the whole process from start to finish — mash tun, fermenters, conditioning tanks and the Cotswolds spring water that quietly does most of the work. Ant will walk you through how we built the brewery from scratch in 2014, why our entire range is gluten-free, and what makes the eight beers we make — Oxford Blue, Oxford Heritage, Pale Ale, Oxford IPA, Boat Race, Kati Patang, Mystic and First Cut — taste the way they do.

The tasting flight. You’ll try several of our beers across both the bottled “Oxford” range (Blue, Heritage, Pale Ale, IPA — all 500ml bottles, 3.8%–4.5% ABV) and the modern can range (Boat Race lager, Kati Patang Indian lager, Mystic NEIPA, plus First Cut). Designed to give you a real feel for the breadth of styles we brew under one roof, all of them gluten-free and brewed with the same Cotswolds spring water.

A short walk to the Tite Inn. The tour finishes with a short stroll into the village to the Tite Inn — our local pub a few doors down, which carries our beer on cask and in keg. It’s the perfect place to settle in for a proper pint of what you’ve just been tasting, grab dinner, and meet the people who come to drink it locally.

When tours run. Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 2pm. We keep groups small (typically 6–10 people) so it stays personal — you’ll get to ask questions, taste from the tanks where possible, and chat with our brewer. Larger private groups can be arranged on request — get in touch and we’ll find a date.

Finding us. Blaythorne Farm sits about a 20-minute drive from Chipping Norton, half an hour from Oxford and 25 minutes from Witney. Charlbury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and the wider Cotswolds AONB are all within easy reach — the tour pairs perfectly with a longer day exploring the area. There is free on-site parking. The brewery floor is mostly level and step-free, but if you have any accessibility requirements just drop us a line in advance and we’ll make sure everything works for you.

What to wear. A working brewery — closed-toe shoes, layers (it can be cool in the conditioning room), nothing precious. We’ll give you anything else you need on arrival.
