The Travellers’ Retreat is a quirky and comfortable converted barn within one of the Cotswolds’ most quintessentially idyllic villages. Suitable for couples and families, this space can be a base from which you can explore this attractive area or a portal that transports you to Mongolia, Bhutan and Myanmar. The mini felt yurt is a fun place for kids to sleep or a space for enjoying library of travel books.

The owners who live in the adjoining barn offer a range of experiences and extras – as you’ll be staying so close to Chadlington Brewery, why not request a brewery tour or just to have a case of your favourite beer ready in the barn on your arrival?

Sustainability
Your stay can be carbon negative thanks to the option of arriving by train and being collected in a hybrid vehicle. Bikes are available during your stay. A vegetable box of local produce is available on request. The electricity and gas for the property are provided by Good Energy. Shampoo and soap bars are made by our friends in Mongolia. We can arrange for a local cook to make meals for you or otherwise the nearby The Tite Inn has meals or the Cafe de la Post has pizzas on Saturday nights. Our loo sponsors a loo in Myanmar and even our loo paper is good for the planet!
