ARCC Virtual Festival
On Sunday 24th May, Chadlington Brewery was proud to be one of the sponsors partnering with the Aston Rowant Cricket Club (ARCC) as they live streamed their virtual beer festival on Zoom.
In the afternoon we completed three sold out masterclass sessions of beer tastings where the Brew Crew talked and tasted their way through a range of beers along with the audience at home. It was a fun and innovative way to do beer tastings, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There were also sensational masterclasses form The Wine Tipster and Chalgrove Artisan Distillery.
In the evening, there was a live Q&A session with two-time Ashes winning captain Andrew Strauss, which was brilliant fun and Andrew was a great sport, answering lots of questions and enjoying a beer or two.
Festival revellers were also able to enjoy live music from Josh Morgan and Richard Snow as well as a live DJ set by Jack Savidge from Friendly Fires and then Houseology.
Thanks to everyone that took part, it was for a great cause and thanks to the fantastic efforts of the team at Aston Rowant we all managed to make it a great day, from the comfort of your own home! It was a sell-out event and ARCC were able to raise funds, still being counted, for the Ruth Strauss Foundation.
